Alt Bridge school is an outstanding specialist provision school for pupils aged 11 to 19 years. During the initial conversations with the school, the Head of Music expressed a keen interest in developing a DJ Skills offer along with Podcasting.
Their ambition was to work more closely with community radio station KCC Live, which is based at the local college, offering broadcast opportunities to pupils from the school.
Stage 1 Delivery
Between March 28th – July 11th we delivered 4 x 30minute DJ skills sessions each week working with 7 pupils across the 10-week period. The school were loaned a Macbook, running Rekordbox software, and a Pioneer DDJ 400 controller.
The sessions were delivered online using the Zoom platform by DJ AMEB, DJ Tutor and presenter on, Liverpool-based, In Demand Radio.
