The school music department is well equipped and staff member has extensive experience in the music and recording industry.
As well as being the primary teaching space, the classroom is also used as a live-room connected to an adjoining control-room space via a wall-box.
Following the initial consultation, the school decided that DJ skills tuition would be beneficial to their pupils and an effective way of promoting the department to pupils who might not have considered music as an option.

Stage 1 delivery:
On Oct 31st 2023 4 pupils from the school began working with a professional DJ tutor using the Zoom online platform. The school have been loaned a Macbook, running Rekordbox software, and a Pioneer DDJ 400 controller
